Device profiles
The Device Profiles section shows one card per connection slot, numbered #0 to #3. Whichever Pokémon GO account is connected to a given slot is controlled by that card's settings.
- Each card has a SPIN dot and a CATCH dot. Tap either to turn that behavior on or off for that slot.
- A lit, colored dot means the behavior is on. A dim dot means it's off.
- Underneath, a small counter tracks how many Pokémon were caught (C), how many fled (F), and how many Pokéstops were spun (S) since the device last restarted.
Autospin
When Autospin is on, the device automatically presses its button whenever Pokémon GO signals that you're near a Pokéstop or Gym you can spin. You don't have to touch your phone — walk past a stop and it spins on its own.
Autocatch
When Autocatch is on, the device automatically presses its button when Pokémon GO signals a wild Pokémon encounter, the same way pressing the button on a real GO Plus registers a catch attempt.
How it decides when to press
Pokémon GO Plus accessories, including PGPemu, take their cue from a pattern of light the game sends over the connection rather than anything shown on your screen. PGPemu recognizes each of these patterns and reacts accordingly:
- Pokémon caught — the button press succeeded.
- Pokémon fled — the encounter ended without a catch.
- Pokéstop or Gym spun.
- Item bag is full — the device holds off on spinning stops until there's room again.
- Pokémon box is full — the device holds off on catching until there's room again.
- Poké Balls are empty — nothing left to throw, so catching pauses.
Button presses use small randomized delays rather than firing instantly, closer to how a person reacts than a fixed, mechanical timing.
Settings stick around
Autospin and Autocatch are remembered per device profile and reapplied automatically the next time that same Pokémon GO account reconnects, even after the PGPemu device restarts.
